I’m Cheryl Ashcraft aka gonewiththewind. I’ve been married to my wonderful husband for 17 years and we are blessed to have two amazing children. I started digital scrapbooking in August 2007 after a decade of paper scrapping. With a 2 year old at that time, the most appealing part of digital scrapbooking was there was nothing to drag out or clean up!

I started digital scrapbooking with Photoshop Elements 5.0 and that’s the program I still use today. While there are some limitations with PSE, there is usually a way to circumvent all of the obstacles. I learned most of my skills because another scrapper was willing to share their expertise. That’s why I’m particularly excited to be able to share some tips and tricks for Advanced Digital Scrapbooking in Las Vegas ~ it’s my time to pay it forward! If you use another program, there will be others available that will be able to assist in converting the instructions if necessary.

In our time together, I plan to give you some quick and easy to use directions for making custom shadows, using layer masks to combine elements (such as weaving ribbon through a tag), blending techniques for photos, papers and elements, as well as sharing some of my personal tips for layering papers and elements and utilizing all types of digital kits to make the most unique and personal layouts possible. And if I talk really fast because I’m nervous, then there will even be more information I’ll be sharing! LOL!
