Bio: I am a photographer, teacher, author, and mom to 6 year old Ian. I love documenting the everyday moments of my life. I’ve had the privilege of helping hundreds of people improve their camera skills in my online classes at Debbie Hodge’s Get It Scrapped, photo walks, and one on one photo coaching. I also write the monthly Photography Class post for TheDailyDigi.
I’ve been taking a photo a day since February 2008, and in March of 2011 I launched CaptureYour365, a website for information, ideas and inspiration for people doing photo a day projects. My favorite photography subjects are my son, my hubby and his crazy goatee, and my garden where I raise most of the food our family eats.
When I’m not behind the camera, I work as a corporate trainer where I have the opportunity to help people identify ways to improve their lives and their workplace performance.

I am excited for all of Katrina’s classes, but the thing that most interests me about Developing Your Photographer’s Eye is composing a strong image. I think that is one of my biggest weaknesses and I’d love to improve by learning from such a master. I’m also intrigued by “seeing light” and what that means!

I would love to win this class. I just got a new DSLR and love it but I am not sure how to take great pictures with it. I would love to know how to be a great photographer rather than just lucky in my shots!
